Royal Gaels and St Colmcilles resumed rivalries today, in very windy conditions in Dunshaughlin.

Royal Gaels started with the wind in their favour and started stronger coming close to open the scoring a number of times, after a succession of attacks they scored the opening goal with a fine team move.

Colmcilles responded with a well worked point, followed by a number of close attempts.

The second half continued with Colmcilles maximising the wind scoring another 3 goals and a point.

Royal Gaels worked hard but came up against a strong Colmcilles defence line with the Gaels managing a point in the 2nd period.
