Our 2020 Club AGM took place on Monday 11th...

...virtually on a Microsoft Teams call, as it the norm at the moment. We had 53 members online for the course of the meeting and all business was conducted in a timely and professional manner. Pat Haighney was re-elected as our much loved Club president and Des Morgan as our Child welfare officer Our officers for the 2021 year are:

Ladies AGM

Our Ladies AGM takes place tonight , Monday 18th of January at 8pm. This is a virtual AGM and you will need to email stcolmcilles.meath@lgfa.ie to be able to attend. Report to follow next week.

Meath U20's Management

We are delighted to wish our former club man Bernard Flynn, Biggy and Graham Geraghty the very best of luck with the Meath U20's in 2021. Up the Royals

My Life Challenge

We have registered St. Colmcilles East Meath for the My Life challenge which started Wednesday 13th January 2021 and runs for 7 weeks until March 3rd 2021. We have started strong and are holding our own in the top 3 clubs in Leinster, with over 150 other clubs participating. We would like to invite you to join in. All we need to do as a club is to walk a combined total of 4,000km to be entered into the draw.

SOSAD Christmas Swim

📷Our chief organizer of the St. Stephens day swim, Oísin Gartlan, received notice from the SOSAD directors during last week that they had had donations of over €1,700 in relation to our St. Stephens day swim. Well done and a big thank you to all who took the dip to make this possible.

Membership 2021

2021 Membership is now open for the 2021 Season. The price increase which was agreed at the 2020 AGM for the 2021 season has been deferred until 2022. Rates will remain as per last year. You can register on our website HERE.

Upcoming coaching Webinar

There are 2 upcoming webinars aimed at different groups. Registrations is available by clicking here. The first, on 20th Jan @7.30pm, is aimed at coaches of the U15 groups upwards and will focus on Testing and Developing Aerobic Fitness. The second, on 3rd Feb @ 7.30pm is on Speed and Agility for youth athletes and is aimed at coaches from U13 upwards.

Club Lotto

This weeks lotto numbers were 17, 20, 25, 28. Our Jackpot was not won. The €50 winners were:

John Gough, Bettystown Road and

Fiona Conway, Laytown.

Next Weeks Jackpot is €3,600.

We’d ask all our members to help us on the lotto. Our sales are significantly down on last year, due to pubs and shops not being able to sell the tickets. You can subscribe online by clicking here

National Draw Tickets.

The GAA National draw has been postponed until June. We still have lots of tickets for sale and the club get to keep all money from funds raised. First prize is a Renault Clio V Dynamique Tce 100MY19. Tickets are for sale on our website or by clicking here.
